The product designer Juan Ruiz-Rivas, and the illustrator and graphic designer, Saveria Casaús, is a design studio based on Calle Piamonte 5 in Madrid, which was born from the idea of ​​creating durable objects, functional and close, always from the point of view of a careful aesthetic and close to the sculptural.

All their designs are self-produced locally and handcrafted, seeking the commitment to not waste resources and to work with natural materials or materials with low environmental impact, to follow a sustainable line of work.

The project that he presents titled “Terrazzo Pieces” is born from the idea of ​​bringing the typical terrazzo to the plane of tabletop objects. The materials used are: Jesmonite acrylic resin, Jesmonite pigments, natural stone.

This project received an honorable mention at the Fresh Product 2019 Madrid exhibition.
